Help your Football Club - Who are we
Neil Baker and Robin Seymour set up Help Your Football Club in 2014 after working closely with Godalming Town and Slough Town in a similar way.
Between Neil and Robin they have over 40 years’ experience in the Finance industry, specialising in mortgages, protection, pensions, savings and investments, for an independent financial advisors firm that spans the south of England with over 25 advisors.
Neil has been involved in football since the age of 5 when his father Keith played in the Conference for Farnborough Town until he was 42, Neil through his playing career played for Farnborough, Aldershot, Boreham Wood, Sutton United, Bracknell Town and Leatherhead.
However an injury at 29 caused an early retirement, and he jumped into management for Fleet Spurs in the Wessex League, he then became joint manager at Godalming Town with Jon Underwood, before becoming Joint manager at Slough Town at the beginning of the 2013/14 season, achieving promotion to the Southern Premier in their first season.
Neil is passionate about Non-League and grassroots football, and it is from this passion that he has decided to set up Help Your Football Club to try and help out as many clubs as possible.
He said "Having played step 1 football all the way down to step 6 football, then managed from step 6 up to where I am currently, step 3, I have had many dealing with clubs, and one thing that rings true for every club is they are always trying to find new ways to attract new income streams to the clubs"
"My thought was why not get clubs on board to raise awareness of the site to their players, management, officials, and supporters, and in the case of boys/girls clubs the parents, to show that not only could you get access to the best independent advisors at no cost to themselves whilst also getting the best possible deal, but also help raise money for their club"
"One local boys team that has joined HYFC has over 25 teams and the thought of that particular youth chairman was that any money raised can go straight back into the individual age group for them to use as they deem fit, now this could mean new balls/kit or even giving them the funds to bring in professional coaches to help with training and progression"
The more that you as a club can help promote this website and the benefits, to all people involved within your club, by mentions in the programme, newsletters, twitter, club website etc, the better financially it could be for you.Help your football club now

"My wife and I have been using Neil Baker to deal with our financial services, in particular our mortgages, for over 8 years now and have always found him very easy to deal with, someone who will always work his hardest for us as a family.
We would have no hesitation in recommending him, and have done so on numerous occasions.
His new business of helping football clubs is a great idea, as it has enabled us to nominate my old club Hitchin Town, and they will make just over £200 from us buying a new house. This is money that is coming direct from the advisor’s pocket and enables us to help a club close to my heart at no cost to us."
